Intro
Siege occurs every Sunday and lasts until Monday morning. We will be going against one other guild that ranks close to us. Each guild has five islands, each with its own BGE, that can be changed by guild officers. The islands health (HP) is determined by the number of players defending it. 1 player=10HP, so the goal is usually to keep the islands at 100HP, with 10 players on each of the 5 unless noted otherwise. The purpose of this is to not have an island stick out as a weaker target, and get destroyed, giving the enemy a huge bonus. Every victory gains us 10 points and deals 1 point of damage to the island in which you scored the win. Once an islands HP drops to zero, that island is destroyed, netting us a whopping 1,000 points. This is why communication is an absolute must when it comes to siege.
Deck Build
I like to keep a deck prepared for every BGE, since you never know until last minute, which islands the opposing guild will have, or which one we'll find to be the weakest. The neat part about siege is that you can set a deck to defend with. To maximize our defense, it's best to defend your island with the appropriate deck type. Likewise, it's a good idea to swap out your offensive deck with one to match the first target island.
Which Island to Defend
As stated above, we need to get all islands to 100HP. Once we're balanced, you can arrange trades in chat to swap islands. Most members have no problem trading, and can swap their defense deck when needed.
Which Island to Attack
Every Saturday, one of our officers will post the attack order in both the LINE chat, and the in-game chat. EVERYONE has to attack the island we decided upon. Our officers can see which members are on the opposing islands, as well as their completion stats, arena rank, and number of each grade of cards (mythic, leg, epic), so trust in the final decision, as it's not just an educated guess, but a well calculated opening move. Our goal is to destroy as many islands as possible, so if everyone works together, follows the stratagem, and uses all 10 energy, the rewards will be ours for the taking.
Rewards
Once siege is over, our rewards depend on if we won. A win will net us a good amount of gold turds, a few thousand nixons, and some mastery stones. These rewards are actually determined by the rank gained the week prior, so if we were to move up in rank this time, we would have the chance to grab the new rank's rewards by scoring a win next week. A loss will still get rewards, but only 10% of them.
