Zbot+

Zbot+ is a very powerful tool for deck building.

Welcome to my tutorial for Zbot+. Zbot+ can be located at https://sites.google.com/site/zbotplus/. It is a very powerful deck building tool that is a must for anyone playing Animation Throwdown. This is not to be confused with the Zbot used through the LINE app by our guild. So let's get started.

After you open Zbot+, you will see a log in window in the top right of the screen. Here you will login with your Kongregate username and password. To the left of this you will also see the word Mode. This contains a drop down list of every BGE(Background Effect) in the game. Before you get started, in-game you will need to choose either an existing deck, or create a new deck. You will also need to make sure the Auto Deck feature is turned off. With your deck now chosen you will now select your BGE next to the mode button in Zbot+ for the deck you would like to modify. Also next to the mode button are the words "Text Only". This will allow you to toggle between text only and actual portraits of all of your cards. I would recommend leaving this set to text only as it takes FOREVER to load all of the card portraits. So with your mode selected, you will now put in your log in info and click the sign in button. Give it about 30 to 60 seconds to work.

After it is done, in the top left you will see a run down of your deck make up. In this order it will be 1. Name of your deck. 2. Character currently assigned to deck. 3.Average current strength of cards. 4. Strength of cards after suggested improvements. 5. Type and amount cards in deck, (pre-combo, character and item cards). 6. Synergy (How well all of your cards combo with each other) 7.Share all ( a link to a website to analyze your deck among other cool things related to the game) 8. Copy to (Haven't been able to get this to work, if anyone has any ideas, leave a comment below) 9 View deck ( If you are officer, you can view any deck in the guild).

Going across the very top row will be the current character cards in your deck, color coded by rarity. Every card will have a power rating directly below it. Cards are listed fro most powerful to least from left to right. To the very right of this in GREEN will be the suggested replacements for the weakest character cards.

Going down the very left side will be your item cards and pre combo cards. They will be listed from most powerful to least from top to bottom. Directly below them in GREEN will be the suggested replacements for the weakest item cards.

If you follow the character card rows down and the item card rows right, you will see every combo that these cards make with a power rating beneath it. Any combo not currently researched will be DARK GRAY and combos researched will be LIGHT GRAY.

Complete all of the suggested replacements in game, and then run 1 battle(doesn't matter what kind of battle, though I would recommend ARENA PRACTICE) and then go back to Zbot+ and sign in again to see if there are any more suggested replacements. Rinse and repeat, you may have to complete this cycle a few times to get your deck competely dialed in, but I promise you will be thrilled with the results.

If you can find the time, I recommend building a deck in this fashion for every BGE in the game and also 1 normal deck. You will also want to rerun these decks through Zbot+ at least at the start of every BGE TO tweak them or once every week or two on the weekends if you can find the time.
